To set a password requirement for your USB drive:
- Specify the password when you run the setup.
- Select Local System Storage.
- Select USB in the Property Panel under Options (see the image on the right).
- Check the box labeled Publish for USB update.
- Enter the password that you entered when setting up the device in the Specify Password dialog box.
- Complete the publish.
- Insert the USB storage device into their BrightSign player. It will display a message indicating that a publish is in progress. On completion, the user is instructed to remove the USB drive; the system reboots and plays back the updated presentation.
If the user did not setup the device with a password, they don't need to specify one when publishing their update.
