Three primary methods of partner integration are recommended. All methods offer partners full control of the CMS UI that end users will interact with while also providing powerful capabilities via either the BrightSign Content Cloud or Control Cloud.
Content Cloud Integration
This method is the quickest and easiest way to access the full capabilities of BrightSign players using a partner CMS. In this architecture, end users interact directly with the partner’s CMS. Behind the scenes, the CMS uses BrightSign APIs to interface with the BrightSign Content Cloud, enabling easy and seamless access to each and every player on the network.
Control Cloud Integration
This method will appeal to many partners because partners can access many pre-built services and features using the free Control Cloud. End users interact with a single UI for authoring, publishing, content management, and player management.
Control Cloud “Swivel”
Some partners may desire the capabilities of the Control Cloud but are not yet ready for full integration with it. These partners can offer the Control Cloud alongside their CMS.
With this architecture, end users have access to the capabilities of the Control Cloud via the default Control Cloud web interface, accessible at https://control.bsn.cloud. By having a browser tab for the CMS and a browser tab for the Control Cloud, users can quickly “swivel” back and forth between the CMS and Control Cloud.
Next, let’s take a look at how the Control Cloud can used to remotely provision players.
