The USB-C-to-GPIO Connector allows for GPIO functionality on the LS423 (which has a USB-C connector but lacks a GPIO connector). With this plug and play device, GPIO events and commands can be used in BrightAuthor presentations for the LS423 identically to any other GPIO-capable model.
This connector can also be used to expand the number of GPIO connections on models that have a built-in GPIO port (e.g. XD223, XT1143). However, there is currently no way to access the additional GPIO buttons in BrightAuthor; a custom script or BrightAuthor plugin is required to create multiple roControlPort instances.
Note
This connector must be plugged in at bootup and must remain plugged in.
