Creating BrightWalls with a Multi Asset Widget

Creating BrightWalls with a Multi Asset Widget

This method uses a Multi Asset widget to create each presentation, instead of manually creating separate presentations. This is generally a more efficient method than Standard (Link/Synchronized) Videowall Presentations.

Creating the Presentation

  1. Select New Presentation in the Dashboard
  2. Select BrightWall as the Presentation Type
  3. Enter a Name (for example, "BrightWallMultiAsset")
  4. Select the Number of rows and the Number of columns (2 by 2 in this case)
  5. Select the Target Device
  6. Set the Target Resolution to resolution you need (1920X1080 in this case). Note that this number is the resolution for each screen.
  7. To set the orientation, switch the Presentation Type to Standard, select the Orientation, and then switch the type back to BrightWall.
  8. Select Start (this will take you to a new window)

Creating the Multi Asset Widget

  1. Double-click on the zone in the center panel
  2. Switch the Interactive slider at the top right to make the presentation interactive
  3. Open the content folder. Note that you will want to use assets that are already the correct size.
  4. Go to the Widgets tab and select the Multi Asset Widget. Drag it onto the canvas (see Image 1).
  5. Double click on the widget in the canvas.
  6. Drag your videos into the correct sections.
  7. Select Publish and Save.
  8. Select the devices you want to publish to under Networked Units and select Publish again.
