 BrightAuthor Version 4.7
This section describes how to create presentations. There are three types of presentation you can create in BrightAuthor. They are listed here in descending order of complexity:

  • Full-screen presentations: A looping playlist of media–images, videos, HTML pages, etc.–that occupies the entire presentation display.
  • Multi-zone presentations: Content can occupy different zones on the screen, allowing you to display multiple images, videos, and other pieces of content in a customizable layout.
  • Interactive presentations: Playback, whether full-screen or multi-zone, is responsive to interactive events such as button presses, GPIO input, or UDP commands.

Besides image, video, audio, and HTML files, presentations can also feature a number of BrightAuthor states, such as Live Text, Media RSS feeds, and HDMI input.
