The Device Activation feature allows you to easily add players to your BSN.cloud network. One of the most common ways to activate a player involves applying a Setup file to the player.

Upon bootup, a player that has not yet been set up (primarily new players and factory reset players) will try to connect to BSN.cloud and look for a provisioning record. If one is found, it will set itself up according to the provisioning record. If a provisioning record is not found, the player will have the “Default Setup” applied. The “Default Setup” can be one of two things. It can be the BrightSign “Default Setup”, or it can be a custom defined Setup with the name “Default Setup”. |
